Anwil started the game better and was leading 8:4, but not only did the hosts cut the whole lead, but they also started to build their own one even in the first quarter which was finished with their margin, 17:13. However, it wasn’t the end of Anwil’s problems in the first half as the opponent increased its advantage to thirteen, 29:16 a couple of minutes before the break.
What was worse, Krzysztof Szubarga cut his eyebrow arc open and needed to sit on the bench, however, Nikola Vasojevic, gave a good spark scoring two points and making an assist and thanks to his play, Anwil diminished the hosts’ advantage to only eight, 25:33.
Nevertheless, everything what was positive in guests’ game, was ended with the third quarter. The players of PGE Turow made a show how to play against Anwil’s defense and how to play with a high level on teamwork. Michal Chylinski made some triples, while Ivan Zigeranovic dominated the low-post and after three quarters, the leader of Tauron Basket Liga was leading 61:39!~
