Anwil Wloclawek lost against Zastal in an away game at Zielona Gora in the 22nd round of Tauron Basket Liga. The hosts started playing at their best level at the very beginning and controlled the game easily.

Dardan Berisha had only four points with the efficiency of 2-for-11, Krzysztof Szubarga scored eight with only 3-for-10, while John Allen added only five making 2-for-8. Due to the ineffective offense and the bad of the above-mentioned trio, Anwil couldn’t win an away game against Zastal.
Nick Lewis and Corsley Edwards were trying to rescue the situation but their efforts went down the tubes. The forward had 14 points and three rebounds while Edwards added 12 plus four. Nevertheless, they both weren’t able to stop Kirk Archibeque who finished the game with a great double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds.
However, it wasn’t Archibeque who starred during the game. It was Puerto Rican point guard Walter Hodge who started the game with 11 points and six assists in the first half. 25-year-old player was making game of Szubarga and Lorinza Harrington’s defense as he was too fast and too effective. In the second half Hodge continued to shine as he added 18 points and another six assists and he finished the battle with amazing double-double combined with 29 points and 12 assists. Moreover he drew 12 fouls.
Zastal controlled the game as they built a quick advantage in the first quarter - after ten minutes the guests were losing by fifteen, 9:24. The team of Emir Mutapcic was trying to back as they cut the lead to only six (28:34) at the end of the first half and to five (42:47) just after the break. Unfortunately Bartlomiej Woloszyn got called a technical foul in the next action so Piotr Stelmach (four free throws made in a row) and Hodge (two another free throws) settled down the situation. From that moment on, devastated Anwil players couldn’t back to the game at all and finally lost 65:81.
