John Allen had 18 points including 3-of-3 behind the arc, four rebounds and two assists as he turned out to be a key player of Anwil’s victory over the long-time opponent. American guard also turned out to be a clutch guy for the team of Wloclawek due to his aggressiveness and engagement in the defense.

When Lawrence Kinnard and Krzysztof Szubarga, each made one of his two free throws, the guests were leading 67:64 but Slask had ten seconds to send the game into overtime. The hosts had the ball out of the line and it was planned to be passed to Qa’rraan Calhoun but above-mentioned Allen closed the door on that as he stole it. However, the Miodrag Rajkovic’s team had its chances but Aleksandar Mladenovic missed an easy lay-up in the last action of the game.

Corsley Edwards and Nick Lewis combined with 20 points, seven rebounds and three rejected shots and that post strength also played its role in that battle. Slask answered with 18 points of Slavisa Bogavac and with a great versatility of Robert Skibniewski (12 points, 10 assists and six rebounds). Mladenovic added 10 points and seven rebounds but, as it was mentioned before, he missed the final attempt.
