Tarnobrzeg is a very hot place in the basketball map of Poland so Anwil players couldn't complain after the first half when they were leading by eighteen, 51:33.

Tony Weeden shouldered the offensive play burden for the second time in January - previously he showed off in Radom where he scored 25 points in 20 minutes. This time, against Jezioro, he had 23 before the break and Anwil controlled the game.

The headcoach Milija Bogicevic must have been totally surprised when the hosts almost cut the whole margin between the third and the fourth period of the game - Anwil was winning by only four at the beginning of the last quarter (68:64).

But Anwil has too many experienced players on the team to lose this game. Krzysztof Szubarga played very solid game for the next time this season as he scored eight and added 10 assists. He directed his passes especially to Weeden who made 16 of his 39 points after the break and when Przemyslaw Frasunkiewicz and Nikola Jovanovic added their bricks, the guests could relax even some minutes before the last buzzer.
