Deonta Vaughn played his personal best game in the whole season against Wikana Start at Lublin and the Rottweilers grabbed their second win in the 2014/2015 competition. Anwil Wloclawek beat Wikana Start 91:77 thanks to the great efficiency in the fourth quarter.

- We are playing better and better, the progress is being made, especially since the last two games but we are still without wins. We need to change that situation badly - said the headcoach of Anwil Wloclawek, Predrag Krunic, after his team lost a game against Stelmet Zielona Gora at home. The team played effectively against the last season runner-up but let the win run away in the crunch-time.

Fortunately, the situation has changed as quickly as it was possible. A round later, Anwil Wloclawek beat Wikana Start Lublin 91:77 and climbed a bit in the league ranking.

The game turned out to be a demanding battle for both teams, but it was Anwil players that stayed focused and played together in the most important time of the fourth quarter. After 30 minutes of fight, the Rottweilers had only a point more than their opponents (64:63), but when Robert Lewandowski made a basket from the post, the hosts even took their chance and worked for their lead (67:66). That situation burned Anwil up and the Rottweilers got back the control of the game, winning 82:72 after a couple of good shots.

Chase Simon was shinning for a while, scoring 9 of his 20 points in that moment, while Deonta Vaughn maintained the high level that he had been presenting from the very beginning of the game. The 28-year-old guard finished the battle with 24 points, seven assists and five rebounds as he was playing as a leader, meeting the coaches' and fans' expectations. Simon had 20 points, four assists and three rebounds while Konrad Wysocki, the third important brick of the offensive wall of Anwil, scored 19 points and had nine rebounds.

The hosts were trying to rescue the game in the last minutes, but Anwil defended well and finally won 91:77.
