Anwil Wloclawek played the season best defense in the second quarter but Energa Czarni Slupsk was not much worse so the game was sent to over time. It was the hosts who played more efficient basketball for additional five minutes and finally won 78:69.

Anwil Wloclawek was leading 59:55 a couple of minutes before the game's end, when Ruben Boykin stood on the free throw line. Unfortunately, he missed both attemps and Oded Brandwein made the battle tighter (59:58) with a triple, while Todd Abernethy drove easily to the basket finishing with a lay-up which tipped the balance (59:60). Only Krzysztof Szubarga's one free throw sent the game to over time, as Yemi Gadri-Nicholson made a shot but it was after the buzzer.

The hosts had some problems with offense that day but they got the efficiency back in the crucial moment - Szubarga made a triple and Tony Weeden added another shot from behind the arc. Moreover, Anwil made 10-of-12 free throws despite the fact they had some difficulties on that area for four quarters (14/24). These kind of details, as well as the rebounds (47:44) and turnovers (13:18) made the game the third victory for Anwil in this round.

It is worth adding that Nikola Vasojevic played more minutes that he got used to in the past. Serbian playmaker started the game with a foul but later gave a great spark off the bench - he made a three-pointer that drew the game (36:36 while a moment before Energa Czarni was leading 36:28), added a floater and showed off with two assists.

Seid Hajric and above-mentioned Nicholson battled well in low-post. Anwil's center had 16 plus 11 while American finished the game with 18 plus 13.
