Jumaine Jones shined early for the hosts, scoring eight points in the first quarter, but the visitors answered shortly after. Anwil Wloclawek founda go-to-guy in Andrzej Pluta, who made two three points shots and added another six points to give Anwil the lead after first quarter 24:10. It is worth adding the captain got some help from Paul Miller, who scored from low-post.

Pepsi Caserta missed Eric Williams in the middle and Anwil kept playing at a high rhythm. Despite it, the team of Igor Griszczuk didn’t give up as Jovanovic and Thomas were able to decrease the opponent’s advantage to only three points, 72:75 with three minutes left. The crucial time has been finally stolen by Caserta’s players like di Bella and Luca Garri, while the guests committed some turnovers and missed easy shots.

Chris Thomas led Anwil with 18 points, while Andrzej Pluta had 17 and Nikola Jovanivic – 16. Jumaine Jones scored 20 points for winners.
