The first quarter was the witness of two players: Lukasz Majewski and Paul Miller. Both players scored 18 of 24 points of the team, making very important shots, grabbing balls and generally playing team basketball. In the meantime Anwil was leading by four, 24:20. Unfortunately, Filip Dylewicz woke up for Trefl and he didn’t let the opponent speed up. However, Nikola Jovanovic and Andrzej made crucial three-pointers and the Wloclawek team increased its leading to a 44:34 result before the break.

Polish forward made two triples, next he added 2+1 action and the Sopot team cut the lead to a 67:62 result. When Lorinza Harrington scored two points from the free throw line, Trefl equalized – 71:71.
However, Trefl’s pursuit cost Karlis Muiznieks’ players a lot of energy and Anwil immediately built up another lead. Paul Miller unblocked himself making a jumper, while D.J. Thompson made very important three-point shot and dished some assists and Anwil disillusioned Trefl which team was better that night.
