A couple of minutes before the final buzzer Anwil Wloclawek was a step from winning the ninth game in a row. The team of Milija Bogicevic had cut the eight-point lead from the first half earlier and started to build its own advantage, taking a 60:56 lead when Seid Hajric made a jumper.

Unfortunately, the hosts didn't play well in the crunch-time and AZS Koszalin stole the victory at Champions' Court, breaking a series of eight wins in a row.

Firstly Jeff Robinson made two points with the left hook forcing simultaneously a Ruben Boykin's foul. He missed from the line but Sek Henry rebounded a ball and made a tip in with... another Boykin's foul. Later he added a free throw and Anwil lost five points in about five seconds. AZS cut the lead and didn't let the hosts get back to the game.

Nevertheless, Anwil had its chances but Krzysztof Szubarga, Tony Weeden and Seid Hajric missed five free throws in the last three minutes.
