28-year-old Paul Graham is a new player of Anwil Wloclawek and is going to share a shooting guard spot with Piotr Pamula. American born in Philadelphia has signed a deal until the end of the season, however, it will be valid if the newcomer passes a monthly try-out.

American shooting guard is well-known among Polish basketball fans as he spent the 2011/2012 season playing for Anwil’s big rival – Slask Wroclaw. Appearing 40 times on the floor in a league competition, he was averaging 14,4 ppg., 2,8 apg. and 2,6 rpg.

According to the headcoach Milija Bogicevic’s opinion, he will be one of the most important players on the team. – He’s a smart, team player. When he signed a deal with Slask Wroclaw two years ago, he was a completely anonymous guy but later, after a couple of games, he easily nailed the leading status there.

Before Graham landed in Wroclaw, he had been playing for the NCAA team, Atlantic Owls. Graduated from in 2009, he moved to Puertorican Indios de Mayaguez where he spent two years. – Paul’s very experienced and we want to take advantage of that fact. He is approaching the best age for a player and I hope he will be able to parlay into it – adds Bogicevic.

In the last season, 28-year-old American was a member of Romanian Gaz Metan Club. Wearing this team’s jersey, he got a chance to show his skills in the EuroChallenge and he was averaging 8,1 ppg. and 3,1 apg. in this competition.

In Anwil, Graham will be sharing the shooting guard spot with Polish guy, Piotr Pamula. Nevertheless, the coach wants to use his wide range of skills and put him sometimes at the point guard position. – I think Paul will deal with the expectations. In his career he played on both guard positions so I have no worries – underlines the headcoach.

Graham has signed a one year contract with an escape clause after a month.
