Nikola Jovanovic has strengthened Anwil Wloclawek. Experienced 31-year-old power forward was the most efficient team player in the 2009/2011 years so now the headcoach Milija Bogicevic expects him to help the team in offense.

Such a decision shouldn't provoke any astonishment while Nikola Jovanovic played under Milija Bogicevic's wings a couple of years ago in Stal Ostrow Wielkopolski. Serbian coach performed then as an assistant coach of Wojciech Kowalczyk and he was the biggest protagonist of hiring Jovanovic.

Now, two men meet once again as Bogicevic has brought a Serbian forward to Anwil. It will be the third Jovanovic's adventure with the club as he had played for Wloclawek in the 2009/2011 seasons, being the best team scorer with respectively 14,1 ppg. in the first and 13,6 ppg. in the second season.

31-year-old Serbian has been hired in order to help the team in offense - the element which is currently suffering on the team according to the headcoach. - I wanted to have him in the roster because he opens many options when he's on the court. Last time we scored 64 points twice so we needed to react. I am sure he will help us - says Bogicevic.

Jovanovic has signed a one-year deal but the club is allowed to terminate the contract after a monthly try-out.
