Nick Lewis and Anwil Wloclawek had been negotiating for a long time and there had been many obstacles which had been closing the door on signing a deal. Finally, both sides have come to terms of the contract.

It is strongly believed Lewis will efficiently fill in the vacancy in the frontcourt as the club had lost Tomasz Cielebak and had done Marshall Moses out of the team before. He is supposed to play in the starting five.

In his previous career 28-year-old Lewis played only in Western Europe. Last time he was a member of French ProA team SIG Strasbourg where he averaged about 6 ppg. and 2,5 rpg. Moreover he performed in Iraklis Thessaloniki, in Chorale Roanne de Basket and Passe Partout Basket Groot Leuven. He also tried his luck in American NBDL league in the teams like Los Angeles D-Fenders, Iowa Energy and Bakersfield Jam.

Lewis’ biggest success in the career is the third place with Chorale Roanne in EuroChallenge Cup. American power forward had 16 points and 6 rebounds in the crucial game.
