Anwil Wloclawek played its best basketball in the third quarter against Stelmet Zielona Gora and built a margin of eleven points, but the guests were able to cut the whole lead at the end of the game. Fortunately, cold-blooded Ruben Boykin made one-of-two three throws, winning the game for Anwil and sending Stelmet unhappy to the locker room.

Ruben Boykin was fouled by Dejan Borovnjak 30 seconds before the final buzzer and when he made 1-of-2 three throws, Anwil Wloclawek was leading 85:84, but the ball was in the guests' hands. The headcoach Mihailo Uvalin decided to give it to Walter Hodge, but Puertorican point guard, who had already scored 22 points, missed twice! Boykin turned out to be a clutch-player once again as he defended well against Hodge's drive.

The team of Stelmet came to the Champions' Court with only one goal - to take a revenge on the last catastrophe, when Anwil crashed them at its own gym 90:59. And they started the rematch with leading 19:9 in the middle of the first quarter...

The team of Milija Bogicevic lost the first ten minutes 18:25, but with the beginning of the second quarter, it began to play more efficient. However, Kamil Chanas scored twice and gave the lead of seven (34:27) for the guests, but three triples of Krzysztof Szubarga and another made by Tony Weeden let Anwil take its first lead - 39:36.

Wloclawek team won the second quarter 25:19, but it was only a forerunner of a better play in the third one. Bogicevic ordered his players to use fast breaks as often as possible, so Marcus Ginyard could use his quickness and creativeness while Seid Hajric dominated the low-post thanks to eight points and Anwil was leading 70:59 before the final period.

The hosts kept such a level until the 35th minute (80:69) but then Uvalin let Lukasz Seweryn appear on the court and ex-Anwil player scored 10 points easily while Hodge equalized the game (84:84) less than a minute to go. Fortunately, Anwil had Ruben Boykin who could put on a brave face.
