Taking into consideration the fact that Anwil Wloclawek beat Asseco Gdynia in the first game of the first round of Intermarche Basket Cup by only seven points (75:68), it was doubtless as that the second game is going to be as tough as the previous one. And it was. The Rottweilers needed full concentration from the very beginning till the final buzzer and finally won over Asseco by seven points again - 70:63.
The guests started to control the game since the second quarter, as the first one was won by the hosts (19:17). Dusan Katnic, Mateusz Kostrzewski and Keith Clanton played efficiently and called the tune on Anwil and their shape influenced on the result before the break - Anwil were leading by four, 33:29. Deividas Dulkys added some important baskets in the third quarter while the fourth period belgoned to Michal Sokolowski.
