A trip to Zielona Gora did not turn out to be successful as Anwil Wloclawek lost to pressure, being beaten by the Polish champion 70:83. The guests played well only in the first part at the beginning of the game but later let the hosts take control of the situation on the floor.

Only in the first part of the first quarter Anwil Wloclawek controlled the rhythm of themselves, and consequently, controlled the rhythm of the game. The guests were easily finding extremely efficient Seid Hajric in the paint and the team captain took a chance of being fed all the time, scoring a couple of important shots - and Anwil were winning 9:3 and 19:13.

Unfortunately, everything what was positive in the guests' game, ended with that lead. Stelmet sorted out all of the problems they had in both offense and defense and took their own lead even before the first quarter's end (23:19).

Anwil weren't able to play strong defense against two players - Vladimir Dragicevic and Przemyslaw Zamojski. These two guys finished the game with 41 of team's 83 points and when a Polish scorer applied a fast break triple in the middle of the second quarter, Stelmet took their biggest first half lead - 41:28. The hosts ran away to such a big advantage also in the third quarter - for eighteen points (65:47) - when Dragicevic and Zamojski played their best too.

Nevertheless, the guests never gave up - Keith Clanton was trying to use every piece of empty space in order to score while Dusan Katnic stopped turning the ball over and Anwil were so close just five minutes to go - 62:69 after Clanton's lay-up. Unofortunately experienced champion did not let their opponents steal the win. Finally Anwil lost 70:83 and that was the third team's defeat in a row.
