The seventh win a row and the third against Start Gdynia this season was reached by Anwil Wloclawek. This time they beat the Polish League newcomer in an away game 76:69 controlling the situation on the floor from the second quarter to the final buzzer.

Anwil Wloclawek was heading for Gdynia for the game against Start being aware of the fact that those teams which beat Asseco Prokom and Trefl, next were beaten by the Polish League newcomer - Start. This situation happened to AZS Koszalin and Energa Czarni Slupsk.

Anwil didn't want to repeat it but the hosts started the game easily. Michal Jankowski shone at that moment and Start had a little margin after the first period, 18:17.

Fortunately, from the second quarter on Anwil started to get back the rhythm and not only did they cut the whole lead, but also built their own one before the break (37:33). Nevertheless the clutch moment happened between the third and the fourth period of the game when Anwil made a 13-4 run and increased the margin to thirteen, 60:47, when Arvydas Eitutavicius and Tony Weeden made two triples.

The guests controlled the pace of the game and kept the intensity in defense in the last quarter, finally winning the seventh game in a row.
