Wojciech Glabas started his basketball career playing for Anwil Wloclawek youth club, TKM Wloclawek. When he joined that team, it turned out that he has got a great talent which should be invested in. That prediction found its confirmation in 2008 as he was activated by Anwil Wloclawek first team. Since that moment Glabas alternately has played for Anwil and, having been loaned, for some other clubs. For example, last season he spent in Polonia 2011 Warsaw.
The current season Glabas started in Anwil. He played 11 games in Tauron Basket Liga, averagely spending eight minutes on the floor, scoring 2 ppg. and grabbing 1,6 rpg. In order to play much bigger role in the team of Wloclawek, he needs to get some experience and that is the reason why he has been loaned to the 1. Liga team AZS WSGK Polframex Kutno.
To avoid the understanding that the decision is a giving Glabas the brush-off, Anwil has decided to extend him for more years. It means his new contract will be valid until June, 2015.
