- Dusan Katnic will be a completely new face in Tauron Basket Liga but I think he will get fans' accolade easily. He is similar, when it comes to style and physical conditions, to Milos Teodosic. He's tall, go-getting and talented. I am sure the fans will like him as he's a typical point guard, typical playmaker - says the headcoach of Anwil Wloclawek, Milija Bogicevic.
Katnic needed to get used to big challenges when he was a junior player. He was the starter of Serbian National Team U-18 during the championship in Novi Sad and he led his team to the golden medal. Moreover, he repeated such a succcess in 2008 when he won U-20 EuroBasket in Latvia.
Last three seasons 24-year-old player spent in Belgian Telenet Oostende - since 2010 he has won the championship twice and the Belgian Cup once. Last season Telenet particiapted in the EuroCup and Katnic had a chance to play, i.a., in Poland against Stelmet Zielona Gora. In the cups Serbian was averaging 7 ppg. and 3,4 apg.
- And he was a back-up point guard - indicates Bogicevic, and adds - I want him to be the starter on my team. He has got a lot of experience and talent and I know how to use him on the floor. I think he will develop very much during the season.
