Danilo Mijatovic is one of those players who never performs the most important role on the team, however also one of those who, thanks to his work ethic and positive attitude, wins coaches' trust easily. During his long career, Serbian big guy played in only five clubs, changing a team only once in last seven years.
Before signing a one-year-deal with Anwil Wloclawek, since 2009 Mijatovic had been playing for Radnicki Kragujevac, achieving silver and bronze medals and finishing the Adriatic League on the third place.
- I was looking for a mobile center who can make three-pointers easily and that's why I have chosen Danilo. We lacked such a player last season and I didn't want to make a mistake this summer - says Milija Bogicevic, the headcoach of Anwil, and he adds - Danilo has got a lot of experience from the Adriatic League which is, in my opinion, the third best in Europe.
Mijatovic's contract will be valid until June, 2014.
