When Konrad Wysocki made his second triple in the middle of the second quarter and PGE Turow Zgorzelec took its first lead in the game (30:29) it seemed that an equal battle will continue till the final buzzer. Anwil was in a great trouble after the fantastic beginning when they led 23:8 after ten minutes.
The hosts survived thanks to Corsley Edwards and Krzysztof Szubarga who both shot some important points and Anwil was leading 34:31 after two quarters. However, Lithunian Giedrius Gustas made seven points in a row and PGE Turow firstly cut the lead, and secondly built its own advantage of three, 45:42.
Anwil did not panic and Dardan Berisha turned out be a key player. Kosovar-Polish shooting guard made three easy triples in a row, made two free throws after Jacek Winnicki's technical foul and suddenly Anwil was leading 55:45. The guests were trying to be back to the game once again, but Anwil controlled very nervous ending, making free throws well.
