Anwil Wloclawek has completed its roster for the 2014/2015 season. The club has just signed a deal with the last player - American forward Brandon Brown. This 29-year-old big guy is the third player from the USA on the team.
29-year-old Brandon Brown will be one of the most experienced basketball player of Anwil Wloclawek. American forward has already performed in France, Cyprus, Ecuador, Uruguay, Argentina and the United States of America. He also has had a short episode in Poland as he was a member of Kotwica Kolobrzeg for nine games in the 2009/2010 season.
- Brandon is a very athletic, strong and muscled player. Thanks to his strength, he is able to play well both in low-post and on the perimeter. He is a good rebounder and I want him to play aggressive on both ends of the court. He can be a leader and I really count on him - says the headcoach Mariusz Niedbalski.
In his last season, Brown played for the French ProB team, Denain ASC, where he was averaging 16 ppg., 7,3 rpg. and 1,5 spg. Before that, he was a part of SLUC Nancy and Apollon Limassol. In that Cypriot team, American big guy had a chance to play in the EuroChallenge and he made a good impression.
- He was averaging almost 23 ppg. and 10 rpg. The statistics on that level show good skills, good possibilities and his dominant personality - adds coach Niedbalski.
Brown and the club Anwil Wloclawek have signed a one-year deal.
