The loss against PGE Turow Zgorzelec was like a taint on the Anwil’s honour so the players of Milija Bogicevic arrived to Slupsk with an attitude to wipe such a dishonour off. And, similarly to the previous game, they started shining after two easy baskets from Przemyslaw Frasunkiewicz who performed well twice in low-post. When Michal Sokolowski added a triple from the left corner, Anwil was winning 9:8.

Unfortunately, then Anwil let the hosts take control of the game – Oded Brandwein was too quick, Mateusz Kostrzewski too precise, Yemi Gadri-Nicholson too strong and the whole team of Energa Czarni too motivated and when Marcin Dutkiewicz finished the fast-break, the Slupsk team took an advantage of nine, 31:22.

That was too much for Tony Weeden, who decided to shoulder the burden and when he made a triple with the half-time buzzer, Anwil decreased the lead to only two, 29:31. Nonetheless, it was the last good period of the guest in that match.

Energa Czarni won the third quarter by fifteen (23:8), letting Anwil score only 3-of-15 field goal shots then. After such a momentum, the hosts didn’t let the chance go away and eventually won the battle 74:53. It was Anwil’s fourth loss in the TOP6 stage.
