Dardan Berisha is the second player who is going to play for Anwil Wloclawek in the 2011/2012 season. Emir Mutapcic decided to keep the shooting guard in the roster so the board automatically extended the player’s deal.

Playing for Polonia 2011 Warsaw in the 2009/2010 season, Dardan Berisha averaged 15,7 points, 3,3 assists and 3,0 rebounds per game so the performances on a such high level opened the gate to better teams. Thus last summer he made a decision to join Anwil Wloclawek, a runner-up of the previous year.

Born in Kosovo, Polish shooting guard signed a deal of one season with an option of extension for another two years after each of them. Mentally strong, Berisha had to do his best in competition for minutes on the floor with extremely experienced Andrzej Pluta. Finally 22-year-old player spent averagely about 18 minutes and noted 7 points and 2 rebounds in each game. These statistics showed that he is really able to play in Polish basketball on the highest level so the head coach, Emir Mutapcic didn’t have any problems and decided to keep the player in the roster for another season.

- Dardan is first of all the player who identifies heavily and seriously with the club. I am extremely pleased that he will be in the team in the following season, because he has large abilities that I can extricate. I have got a plan which is possible to fulfilled only in case of his staying here in Wloclawek for a long time - Bosnian coach said.

- I am going to prove both myself and the fans that I can play on a better level in offense and in defense as well. I feel that under Emir Mutapcic’s eyes I am able to do it - Berisha expressed his happiness.
