As the only one player from Anwil Wloclawek, Dardan Berisha found his name on the list of the players who were nominated by the new headcoach of Poland National Team, Ales Pipan. Slovenian coach chose twenty four players who will be competing for twelve places on EuroBasket 2011.

Dardan Berisha, although he is only 23-year-old guy, ho won’t be in the group of the youngest players in the team. Slovenian headcoach Ales Pipan nominated seven rookies: Mateusz Ponitka (18), Piotr Niedzwiecki (18), Jaroslaw Mokros (21), Adam Waczynski (21), Piotr Pamula (21), Jakub Wojciechowski (21) and Tomasz Snieg (21).
It means that Berisha, who had already performed in 15 games in Poland NT, can be one of the key players in the team. During the last year’s EuroBasket 2011 Qualifications the shooting guard averaged 7 ppg. and 2 apg.
