The third league game and the third victory! Anwil Wloclawek beat PGE Turow after a dramatic battle 81:79, winning in Zgorzelec for the first time since last seven games. Rottweilers won by dominating in low-post especially thanks to Seid Hajric's double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds.

Last time Anwil Wloclawek won in Zgorzelec a game before the play-offs of the 2011/2012 season, but the previous competition brought nothing but loses for Anwil competing against PGE Turow away.

Fortunately, the baskets in the court of the current Polish vice-champions got broken last Thursday as Anwil Wloclawek played their best in the second half and stole the victory against PGE Turow.

The team from Wloclawek started the game badly and the hosts needed only a couple of minutes to take the first clear lead by nine (13:4) in the middle of the initial quarter. Anwil were trying to get back to a good shape and they made it thanks to Seid Hajric and Dusan Katnic (14:16) but PGE Turow seemed to be always a step or two further than their opponent.

The situation on the floor changed totally after a break. Not only did Anwil show better team defense which let them stop Turow's best scorers - Damian Kulig and J.P. Prince - but they also created more open space shots in offense. Katnic and Mijatovic scored eight points in a row, while Keith Clanton was the first guy who cut PGE Turow's lead (54:53). When Mateusz Kostrzewski finished a fast-break, Anwil were leading by six - 59:53 after the 16:3 run.

Nonetheless, the hosts didn't give up and when Kulig made a triple, they got the lead back (76:75) but the last word belonged to the Rottweilers who did a great job and put a team effort into crunch-time in order to end that game happily.

Dusan Katnic was the player who, making a triple, regained a lead (78:77), while Seid Hajric turned out to be the first in the next fastbreak (80:77). Finally Deividas Dulkys hammered a nail into a win, scoring 1-of-2 free throws.
