Until the break AZS Koszalin was trying to not let Anwil run away too much and thanks to some players, it was possible. 37-year-old center Rafal Bigus played as though he were at least ten years younger - he scored eight points in the first half and this is why the hosts kept up with Anwil.
Nevertheless, from the second half on, the guests started to take control of every single part of the court in Koszalin. Ruben Boykin made a lay-up with the half's beginning and he played efficiently till the final buzzer, eventually scoring 19 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.
American forward made triple when AZS cut the lead to only two (40:42) and from that moment on, Anwil started to dissasemble its opponent. Tony Weeden and Michal Sokolowski finished fast breaks with amazing dunks, Krzysztof Szubarga made two amazing triples and when Boykin finished the action with a powerful dunk, the guests increased the margin to 19 (73:54).
The hosts were trying to avoid a disgrace and during last three minutes they cut the loss to only seven. Nonetheless, they couldn't tip the balance and Anwil jubilated its 800th game in Polish highest division.
