Anwil Wloclawek won against Zastal in a home game in the 3rd round of the second phrase of Tauron Basket Liga. The hosts started playing at their best level at the very beginning and controlled the game easily.

When Kamil Chanas made a triple three minutes to go to the end of the first quarter, Zastal Zielona Gora was leading 8-5 and everything seemed an equal battle till the final whistle. However, nothing like that happened because from that moment on Anwil Wloclawek started to play to the best of their abilities.

Krzysztof Szubarga gained momentum and even in the first quarter he dished some crucial assists which helped Anwil to build its first advantage - 27:20 after ten minutes. Polish playmaker showed a great defense against a Zastal leader Walter Hodge and, together with Lorinza Harrington, Dardan Berisha and John Allen, forced Puertorican guard to sit on the bench as they drew four his fouls in the first half. The hosts were leading 50:35 after twenty minutes.

Anwil had a rhythm and willingness to achieve a success. The headcoach Krzysztof Szablowski engrafted a sense of responsibility and engagament in his players who didn't lose anything from their attitude from the first half, and kept a high level of effectiveness and efficiency after the break. Finally Anwil won the Saturday's game 88:72, however the size of the victory could have been bigger (in the third quarter Anwil was leading 76:52).

Corsley Edwards played a great night, making his sixth double-double in the current season. Scoring 22 ponts and grabbing 10 rebounds, American center turned out to be better than his opponent from Zastal, Gani Lawal, who had 18 points and seven rebounds.
