Asseco Prokom Gdynia left Wloclawek with two more points which gave the team the first position after the regular season. Anwil was better in the first half but finally lost 68:73.

Anwil Wloclawek took control of the game thanks to the series of three point shots and iron defense in the first quarter, leading 13:7 and 20:11. Asseco Prokom Gdynia had big problems with offense and the first shot was made by Filip Videnov in the fifth minute of the match.

The team of Emir Mutapcic continue to impress with its defense in the second quarter, as the guests scored only 14 points in 14 minutes. In the same time Anwil made 28 points so they were leading by fourteen and everything suggested easy win. However, Tomas Pacesas’ players changed their style and scored 13 points in only four minutes so simultaneously they decreased the lead into a 32:27 result. Fortunately for hosts, Paul Miller made three jumpers and Anwil had the margin of six (38:29) before the break.

When American center answered with a triple after the same shot of Daniel Ewing at the very beginning of the third quarter, it seemed that the Wloclawek team will be able to control the game but nothing like that happened. Asseco Prokom got back its efficiency and power in defense so they started cutting the hosts’ advantage. After two triples of Videnov and Tommy Adams they even took the first lead – 50:49.

Dardan Berisha was the guy who decided to take a responsibility in offense. A shooting guard scored eight points in a row and Anwil came back to the game, drawing 52:52 and even winning 57:55. Kosovar even made a shot in a moment when Ratko Varda and Krzysztof Szubarga didn’t miss behind the line so both teams were equalizing 62:62. However, Piotr Szczotka scored five points, Videnov made some very important free throws and Asseco Prokom finally won 73:68.
