The hope abandoned just after six minutes, by the time when PGE Turow had done a 15-0 run and took a 17:3 lead. Konrad Wysocki scored nine points while Giedrius Gustas added six and the hosts were winning 22:12 after ten minutes.
The guests had many problems with organizing offensive strategies as Turow presented the season best defense and let the opponents score only 25 points in the first half.
