Przemysław Frasunkiewicz, Anwil Włocławek’s coach: Our new center is a player who can read the offense of rivals and adjust accordingly to different situations on the court. We wanted a player who would adapt efficiently to our defensive system. Kalif is versatile enough on defense that this process is sure to go quickly. The Canadian center is energetic and very athletic. If anyone thinks that Kalif can only finish actions with dunks, he is very wrong. Center in the German league has developed his skills and proved that he also finds himself further from the basket. We are talking, for example, about creating shots for partners - this is one of his biggest, very important advantages.

I look forward to meeting everyone within the club and working towards something really special this year! After talking with coach Frasunkiewicz about my role within the team and doing my own research about the club, I came to the conclusion that this was the place I want to call home.
