Anwil lost to King Szczecin 86:91 in the first game of the Energa Basket Liga quarter-finals. The Rottweilers fought hard for 40 minutes.
Anwil started slowly - the Rottweilers had nine turnovers in the first quarter. The opponents knew how to take advantage of this. They built a 17-point lead.
Przemysław Frasunkiewicz's players stayed calm - in the second quarter they reduced the difference and even came out on top! Unfortunately, in the second half the rivals played a bit better and eventually won.
Victor Sanders and Luke Petrasek were Anwil's best scorers. Both scored 17 points each. Sanders also had three rebounds and two assists, while Petrasek had three rebounds, an assist and a block.
