Anwil made history by winning FIBA Europe Cup. Everyone wanted to take the next step and advance to the play-offs of the Polish league. After the first half the Rottweilers were close to achieving this goal - they led 56:41.
Przemysław Frasunkiewicz's players had a great start to the third quarter. Nothing could stop them. When Maciej Bojanowski hit 3-pointer and Anwil broke the 100-point barrier, the victory became certain.
Victor Sanders was Anwil's best scorer. The small forward had 30 points, four rebounds and three steals in only 14 minutes on the floor!
