Anwil Włocławek had simply a great game. The Rottweilers defeated Cholet Basket 81:77 in the first game of the FIBA Europe Cup finals after a brilliant battle!
That was a really great event. The fans in Włocławek were astonishing. Four thousand people cheered for Anwil - the team repaid them with a good show. The Rottweilers started strong, making three 3-pointer. However, after the first half it was the opponents who led - 53:49.
Thanks to efficiency behind the arc, Przemysław Frasunkiewicz's players took the control in the second half. Anwil was better in defense and shared the ball (won 24:17 in assists). Eventually, the Rottweilers won against Cholet Basket 81:77 in the first game of FIBA Europe Cup finals!
Phil Greene IV was Anwil's best scorer. The shooting guard had 20 points, three assists, rebounds and two steals.
