That is spectacular! Anwil Włocławek won against Karhu Basket 67:63 (overall 157:134) and advanced to the finals of FIBA Europe Cup!
Both teams felt that the slightest mistake could take them out from the competition. Hence large number of turnovers (Anwil - 19, Karhu - 14). The Rottweilers were not immune to mistakes, but thanks to their character they stopped their rivals in the defense. The Finns could not spread their wings, because Anwil was like a wall.
In the third quarter Luke Petrasek and Phil Greene IV made a few important shots. Everyone fought hard. Two minutes before the final buzz Anwil led 66:63. At that point everything was clear - Anwil advanced to the finals of FIBA Europe Cup!
Phil Greene IV was Anwil's best scorer. The shooting guard had 17 points, three rebunds, two assists, a block and a steal.
