It was a phenomenal game! Anwil Włocławek fought hard on defense and won against Gaziantep Basketbol 91:75 in an away game! The team advanced to the FIBA Europe Cup semi-finals!
The Rottweilers had to make up one point - not much, but the Turks are a strong rival. Anwil started the game motivated - after the first half led 43:33.
Przemysław Frasunkiewicz's players were responsible (only six turnover) and focused. Thanks to great defense they had control of the situation for 40 minutes. 120 seconds before the final buzz Anwil led by 15 points - at that point the game was already over.
Victor Sanders was Anwil's best scorer. The small forward had 19 points, three rebounds, two steals and an assist.
