What a horror! What a rollercoaster! Anwil Włocławek won against PGE Spójnia Stargard 94:93 after an overtime. The Rottweilers played hard in the second half!
Stargard is not an easy place to play as a guest team. The rivals had six wins in a row - the Rottweilers were eager to break the series.
The game was really fun to watch. Both teams fought hard (27 fouls each). Anwil made a few mistakes on the free throw line (15/28), but was effective close to the rim (23/32).
The opponents brought the game into an overtime, but Przemysław Frasunkiewicz's players kept their concentration. Eventually they won 94:93!
Luke Petrasek was Anwil's best scorer. The power forward finished with 22 points, five rebounds, two steals, an assist and a block.
