German Brose Bamberg won in the Champions' Arena 90:86. Anwil Włocławek fought for first place until the final buzz - unfortunately, in the second half the rivals were more effective.
Anwil was assured of advancing to the FIBA Europe Cup quarterfinals, but the game was for the first place. For Brose Bamberg, the game was also special, because a defeat could eliminate the team from the competition.
The Rottweilers started the game well (27:20), but in the next quarters the rivals were efficient. Przemysław Frasunkiewicz's players had a chance to turn the situation around in the last minutes, but Brose played cool and eventually won.
Phil Greene IV was Anwil's best scorer. The point guard had 24 points and three assists.
