Anwil Włocławek won against Romanian CSM CSU Oradea 74:66. Thanks to that, the Rottweilers advanced to the FIBA Europe Cup quarterfinals!
Anwil had two chances to advance to the FIBA Europe Cup quarterfinals. However, no one wanted to put things off until the last moment - everyone was motivated to fight from the beginning. The Rottweilers were focused - after the first quarter they led 27:13.
The rivals had some problems with efficiency (33% from the field). On the other hand, Przemysław Frasunkiewicz's players showed good defense. One minute before the final buzz Anwil led 74:60 - at that point the victory was certain.
Josip Sobin was Anwil's best scorer. The center had 17 points, five rebounds, three assists and a steal.
