Anwil Włocławek lost to Brose Bamberg 69:73. Although the players fought until the very end, they were unable to make up for their losses.
Anwil wanted to win for the third time in the second round of FIBA Europe Cup. The Rottweilers started the game well - after 20 minutes they led 37:34.
Everything changed in the second half. In the third quarter the opponents made a run (19:0). Although Przemysław Frasunkiewicz's players fought back and narrowed the gap (69:72 20 seconds before the final buzz), the rivals kept their cool and eventually won.
Josh Bostic and Phil Greene IV were Anwil's best scorers (both had 20 points). Josh added four rebounds, two assists and a steal, Phil two rebounds and assists.
