Anwil Włocławek was one shot away from an overtime. Unfortunately, in the end the Rottweilers' chase was unsuccessful - BM Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski won 71:68.
The Rottweilers started the game well. They had advantage after the first quarter (22:14). In the second and third quarter Anwil had problems with effectiveness (only 17 points), so the rivals built advantage.
Przemysław Frasunkiewicz's players reduced the difference during the last minutes. Phil Greene IV could take the game into the overtime - unfortunately he missed the shot.
Lee Moore was Anwil's best scorer. The point guard had 18 points, nine assists, five rebounds and three steals.
