Another great Christmas game in the Champions' Arena. Although Anwil Włocławek lost to Trefl Sopot 80:83, the team should be respected - as they made up for big losses and fought to the final buzz.
Anwil started slowly - after the first half the opponents had advantage (49:37). At some point of the third quarter the rivals led by 19 points (42:61).
The Rottweilers once again showed their character. They pushed in the defense, played hard, made a run and made up for losses. Thanks to Phil Greene IV Anwil was only one step from winning (77:76 three minutes before the end). Unfortunately, Trefl made a 3-pointer in the last seconds and took the win.
Phil Greene IV was Anwil's best scorer. The point guard finished with 23 points, two rebounds, two assists and a steal.
