The Rottweilers fought in an away game until the final buzz. Unfortunately, they eventually lost to Legia Warsaw 70:78.
The rivals started the game really well - they had 15-point advantage in the first quarter (22:7). Thanks to 15:0 run in the next part of the game, the Rottweilers reduced the difference and even took the lead (35:32).
Unfortunately in the second half the opponents were more effective - Anwil made only one 3-pointer. Despite this, Przemysław Frasunkiewicz's players fought until the very end. 50 seconds before the final buzz Grzegorz Kulka made a shot, that was decisive for the victory. Today the opponents won, but Anwil has nothing to be ashamed of.
Luke Petrasek was Anwil's best scorer. The power forward had 19 points, four rebounds and a steal.
