The Rottweilers gave it their all today - unfortunately, they lost after an overtime in the derby game. Enea Abramczyk Astoria Bydgoszcz won on its territory against Anwil Włocławek 95:84.
The derby game is always special - not only for the fans, but also players. Both teams fought hard from the beginning. Anwil had some problems in the first half, but managed to overcome them.
One minute before the final buzz the Rottweilers led 76:73. Unfortunately, the hosts made a 3-pointer and took the game to the overtime. In the additional time the rivals simply played better, were efficient and eventually won.
Josip Sobin and Luke Petrasek were Anwil’s best scorers. The center finished with five rebounds and two assists, while the power forward had six rebounds, three blocks and an assist.
