Anwil Włocławek with the first win in Energa Basket Liga this season! The Rottweilers defeated Enea Zastal BC Zielona Góra 82:61 and repeated the history of 30 years ago!
Today’s game was special – 30 years ago players from Włocławek beat Zastal in their first ever game in the league. Present Anwil’s players wanted to do the same thing and win in front of their crowd. The Rottweilers started the game well and after the first half led 39:24. Huge impact had Janari Joesaar, who made three shots in a row from the distance.
In the second half Przemysław Frasunkiewicz’s players continue to play hard. Two minutes before the final buzz they had safe advantage (78:57) – at that point nothing could stop them.
Luke Petrasek was Anwil’s best scorer. The power forward finished with 14 points, five rebounds, three assists and a block.
