The Rottweilers advanced to the semifinals of Energa Basket Liga! Anwil Włocławek today defeated Twarde Pierniki 85:78 in Arena Toruń and checked in the next phase of the playoffs!
The Rottweilers started the game fully concentrated. Everyone knew how important this game was. Przemysław Frasunkiewicz’s players followed their plan and after the first half led 51:38.
The opponents gave everything, because that was their last chance. Twarde Pierniki reduced the difference and Anwil’s fans started to get nervous (69:70). Fortunately, the Rottweilers kept cool, made their shots and eventually won.
James Bell was Anwil’s best scorer. The small forward had 22 points, six assists and four rebounds.
