The quarterfinal series will take longer – Anwil Włocławek lost today in the away game against Twarde Pierniki Toruń 85:94. The fourth game will be played on Tuesday.
The game was balanced, although Anwil won the first half 48:41 and the players from Włocławek seemed to have caught the right rhythm.
In the second half both teams committed a lot of fouls (seven players did not finish the game because of this). In the crunch time the opponents were better at the free throw line and won. The Rottweilers fought until the very end - on Tuesday they want to beat the opponents and end the series.
Kamil Łączyński was Anwil’s best scorer. The point guard finished with 18 points, five assists, three steals and a rebound.
