The Champions’ Arena defended for the second time! Anwil defeated Twarde Pierniki Toruń 87:71 and is just one win away from advancing to the semifinals of Energa Basket Liga.
That was a tough game, typical for the playoffs. Anwil shared the ball (win in assists 19:9) and was precise (8:17 in turnovers). The opponents pushed in the first half, but in the second they seemed to be a bit tired.
Anwil knew where to find advantages (19:0 in points from the turnovers, 18:8 in fast attack and 36:26 in the paint). The Rottweilers won third quarter 27:12 and in the last 10 minutes just finished the job.
Kamil Łączyński was Anwil’s best scorer. The point guard had 18 points, four assists, three rebounds and a steal.
