Regular season crowned with a victory! Anwil Włocławek defeated HydroTruck Radom 92:84 in the 30th round of Energa Basket Liga and secured second place in the table before play-offs!
For the opponents that was a last chance game – if they lose, they would be relegated. Anwil fought for the second place before the play-offs. The Rottweilers slowly but consistently built up a lead (66:56 after the third quarter).
The rivals were great behind the arc (16/41), but Anwil dominated in the paint (50:16). Last minutes were nervous, but Przemysław Frasunkiewicz’s players managed to stay cool and took the 22th win in this season.
Luke Petrasek was Anwil’s best scorer. The power forward had great double-double: 18 points and 14 rebounds, also added four assists.
