History is happening before our eyes! Anwil Włocławek won the first international cup in the club's history. The Rottweilers defeated Siauliai-7bet 90:79 in the ENBL final today.
In tonight’s first game (bronze medal game), Basket Brno won against Tartu Ulikool Maks & Moorits 80:76. Fans in the Champions’ Arena waited for the last game of ENBL’s first season. Anwil Włocławek had a chance to win an European trophy for the first time in history.
Siauliai-7bet played well in the first half, but after a break the Rottweilers turned up the pace. James Bell was effective (8/11 from the field), Luke Petrasek knew how to find a way to the basket, Kamil Łączyński controlled the situation (nine assists)… To put it bluntly, the whole team is worth mentioning – everyone contributed. Anwil’s done something historic – the Rottweilers won the game and what follows, the first edition of ENBL!
Luke Petrasek was Anwil’s best scorer – the power forward had 25 points, four rebounds, two assists, a block and a steal.
