There was no doubt – Anwil Włocławek’s players were a way better than GTK Gliwice and beat the opponents 88:62 on the road.
Przemysław Frasunkiewicz’s players knew that they have to be concentrated from the beginning – the rivals are on the last place in the Energa Basket Liga, but sport is full of unfortunate events. After the first half the Rottweilers led 39:31, so their expectations were not met.
Anwil started the third quarter harder – players pushed in the offense and built an advantage. They won this part of the game 25:10. In the last minutes the guests led 83:55 and nothing could take the win from them.
Jonah Mathews was Anwil’s best scorer. The point guard had 16 points, four rebounds, three assists and a steal.
